  3. Practice Draw a box around 5 lines on your paper Draw lines after the first and third lines inside the box Label the three sections Claim , Evidence , and Reasoning Repeat this process four times, with one line in between each box

  4. Practice Brianna wanted to compare the densities of two different solids of the same volume (6 cm3) to see which one was more dense. Solid A had a mass of 2 grams while solid B had a mass of .5 grams. (Density = Mass/Volume)

  5. Practice Sammy wanted to see if plants really do grow better in sunlight. He used three plants of the same type and size in three locations. Plant A was placed on the countertop in the center of a classroom. Plant B was placed inside a cabinet. Plant C was placed on a windowsill. After five days, Sammy measured the growth of the plants and found the following data: Height Day 1 12 cm 12 cm 12 cm Height Day 5 14 cm 13 cm 16 cm Plant A Plant B Plant C
