  1. Can we ever please God? Our loving aim 2 Cor. 5:9, I Thess. 2:4 Our Path - Walking in the light Eph. 5:10 Our living Sacrifice - holy body presented (Rom. 12:1)

  2. Pleasing God while pleasing others Helping others in need Heb. 13:16 Pleasing others with edification - Rom. 15:1-2, I Cor. 10:33 Pleasing our spouse I Cor. 7:33, 34) Pleasing our employer -Titus 2:9, Gal. 1:10

  3. I can please God ... I must I have faith... (Heb. 11:6) Are my righteous deeds as a polluted garment Filthy rags (Isa. 64:6,5, Matt. 23:25,27) ? When I have done all that is commanded... I am an unprofitable servant (Lk. 17:10) ?

  4. I can please God ... I must I have faith... (Heb. 11:6) Must we remind God of our good deeds in prayer, like Nehemiah Neh. 13:14,22, 30-31? Our in our humility in confessing our sins, we turn to God in difficult times to be remembered for our integrity and uprightness we strive for (like David (Psm. 25:7, 11, 18, 21)
