Off Site Learning Opportunities Junior and/or Senior Year
Career Technical Education (CTE) provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.
Our Goal as an Educational System is to make sure students are College and Career Ready! This does not mean EVERY Student needs a College Degree. There are many opportunities out there without a College Degree & many pay quite well! The main goal for you is to select a Career Path in which you will be fulfilled, financially independent and most importantly HAPPY!

Herndon & Southland Applications are open and the priority deadline is March 13, 2023 https://www.raytownschools.org/Domain/1631 Click on Apply online for both programs The Herndon/Southland packet includes a quick glance of the Raytown requirements, an overview of the Programs offered, general procedures and steps in the application process and a rubric for evaluating applications. It also includes form for Private schools to get permission to attend from the public school district in which you reside. Applications

Students interested in any of these programs for their Junior and/OR Senior year, please see Mrs. Glasgow ASAP to set up a graduation plan to get all graduation requirements met and still attend one of these awesome programs!
Please Remember . You are applying to attend. It is not a guarantee you will be selected. Attendance is critical when attending any Off-site Program! Students MUST provide their own transportation to and from their Off-Site Program, Parents are asked to sign a Transportation Waiver prior to the beginning of the school year. Students attending any off-site program are expected to attend their off-site program EVEN when SMA is not in school. When SMA is in session and their off- site program is not, students are expected to report to SMA at their regularly scheduled time. Guidelines
