Job Description in detail explain why this job is well suited to you Infantry Soldiers are the Army's primary combat fighters Responsible for closing with and engaging the enemy. Core members of the Combat Arms team, which includes Artillery and Armoured Soldiers. Operate with support elements such as fighter aircraft, tactical and artillery. There is no average day for being an infantry soldier, everyday is different, some times are very busy sometimes are very slow. Examples of duties: roll-call, maintenance, administration, training and sports.
Post-Secondary Education Requirements Have completed at least grade 10 (certain entry programs and occupations require higher levels education The Forces will consider applicants who have passed a General Education Development (GED) test. Adults who have not completed high school can submit an Attestation of Secondary School Equivalency, but it is not considered equivalent to a high school diploma.
Program Information Join the CFLRS (Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School) Course provided: Basic Military Officer Qualification (BMOQ) (14 weeks). Admission requirements: Pass force fitness profile Pass aptitude test (verbal skills, spatial skills, problem solving) Pass medical test Interview Reliability screening 17 years of age Non-offensive visible tattoos Required courses: graduation from high school or equivalent No tuition fees but rations and quarters cost $648.41 per month
Potential Hurdles to overcome these obstacles ie: Financial restraint (hurdle). Researching and applying for student loans, bursaries or scholarships (strategies to overcome those hurdles) Passing high school Identify potential hurdles to your educational and career goals, and strategies Strategy: complete homework on time, study for test, pay attention in class and ask questions Physical fitness: Eat 3 balanced meals with more protein to build more mucles, start training exercises with lower weights to build up tolerance
Timeline BONUS: Create a timeline illustrating important dates and deadlines present to meet your educational and career goals; provide a framework that will show your goals coming to fruition November 2017- start lifting and dragging 5kg weights and practice sprinting. January 2018- start lifting and dragging 10kg weights and practice sprinting. I will be eating three healthy meals a day by this point June 2018- I will be efficient with homework and studying January 2019- start lifting and dragging 20kg weights and practice sprinting. June 2019- graduate June 2019- June 2020- work at footlocker June 2020- enlist in the army
