  5. Overview Alliancing & Collaboration The framework is endorsed by the Cabinet Office and implements key government policies and strategies The Building Materials & Equipment Framework is founded on an Alliance structure to promote collaborative behaviour between Clients, Suppliers and Framework Managers. It aligns Suppliers and Clients in achieving agreed success measures for each lot and drives continuous improvement of both the framework and industry. It includes optional, advanced, innovative contract arrangements, allowing customers to procure programmes of work as self-managed sub-alliances to increase consistency, efficiency and improved value and performance.

  6. You will receive an invitation to join Knowledge Hub. This is one of the tools we will use to promote collaboration between CCS, clients & suppliers. It will also be used as a showcase to what we will achieve and have already achieved via the framework. Initially this will be in the form of case studies so we cannot stress enough the importance of completing these when asked. The collaborative aspect of FAC1 is new to us as well as you. Whilst we are aware that there will be commercial aspects that need to be protected, there are elements of the framework where we can make significant strides in offering more sustainability in offered products and solutions without compromising commerciality.

This list will be added to and products removed to reflect framework activity and sustainable alternatives. Non-Core products We recognise that it would be impossible to price every item that a supplier can offer. In those circumstances we have a discount structure for items not on the core list. 13. Expression of Interest EOI s are a valuable tool that can be used to quickly determine whether suppliers are capable of providing the goods and services you require. Prepare you project brief in the same way you would for a further competition, keep the information sent to as minimum as possible but include a schedule of products with enough information / specification to allow the suppliers to price accordingly. You can set your time limit to return based on what you are asking the supplier to price. The EOI template can be found on the CCS website and in the Knowledge Hub.

  14. Lot Suppliers The following list contain the awarded suppliers for each lot. Suppliers can occasionally be removed from lots e.g. if they cease trading. Before commencing a procurement please refer to our website for the current list of suppliers and contact details. https://www.crowncommercial.gov.uk/agreements/RM6157
