
Center for Comparative and International Studies in Albania
Founded in 2006 in Tirana, Albania, the Center for Comparative and International Studies (CCIS) is a reputable civil society organization known for its impactful research and policy influence. With a strong network locally, nationally, and regionally, CCIS collaborates with various stakeholders, universities, and organizations to promote development and engagement. Currently involved in projects like Europe for Citizens and Youth involvement in constructive dialogues, CCIS is also a member of COST Actions focusing on environmental citizenship and European political science professionalization. Kickoff Meeting on 23-24 February 2021 highlighted CCIS's participation in the Erasmus+ CBHE Project through USIA.

Founded in 2006 in Tirana, Albania CCIS has established itself as a reliable civil society organization with track record in conducting research for development and impact on policy and with a very well established local, national and regional network. CCIS works in partnership with research centers and universities, youth and local communities, civic groups and non-profit organizations as well as public and private sectors. CCIS has a well-established network of partners in Albania and Europe, and particularly in the Balkan Region in Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia.
