Coordinated Entry Standardized Housing Assessments CE Standardized Housing Assessments Skilled Assessors should resume completing new housing assessments beginning April 1, 2020 CE Standardized Housing Assessments for Veterans Veterans can call the VA Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC) to complete a housing assessment Phone Number: 312-569-5750

CE Access Points are Virtual in April Clients should NOT be directed to an Access Point s physical location solely for the purpose of completing a Standardized Housing Assessment or update in April. Dedicated Assessors will complete Standardized Housing Assessments and updates by phone in April.

  9. CE Access Points are Virtual in April CE Call Center Monday through Friday, 8:30am 4:00pm Call: 312-361-1707 Clients are welcome to call the CE Call Center on their own or with a staff member. Staff should review the HMIS consent with households in advance whenever possible. During high volume call times, callers will hear a hold message that invites them to call any of the phone numbers offered that day by additional Dedicated Assessors.

  17. OVERALL UPDATES ON COVID-19

  18. Hotel Beds People are referred to the quarantine sites through their provider (hospital or medical provider) if they are : (1) awaiting test results and do not have an isolated place to wait or (2) they have tested positive, have only mild symptoms so do not need to stay in the hospital and they do not have an isolated location to stay.

  19. Shelter 311 referrals for shelter have reopened. The majority of new referrals will be routed to new temporary shelter facilities. For shelter, call 311 from any address. Do not send clients to hospitals/police stations. 400 additional shelter beds available through YMCA. CDPH is providing shelters with medical consult by phone. Each shelter has a number to call to determine whether to separate a person, or whether the person should go to the healthcare system for care.

Redeploying Staff to Shelters Human services professionals are urgently needed to support this effort and we understand that there may be members of your teams that are interested in volunteering! Individuals interested in volunteering should complete the volunteer survey form linked in the chat, and later in the Slack Channel. Descriptions of the needed staff positions are also linked in the chat and will also be in Slack later.

  22. Census 2020 Site-based Enumeration (SBE) and Target Non- Sheltered Outdoor Location (TNSOL) was pushed back 1-month: SBE is April 29 May 1 TNSOL is the night of Mar 31.
