Itinerary 7:00 am EST Depart Beaumont Middle School for Chicago Shedd Aquarium Visit this amazing aquarium that sparks compassion, curiosity, and conservation for the aquatic animal world. Spirit Cruise for a night of dinner/dancing Cruise along the lakefront on a cruise ship designed for fun and comfort. So come aboard for a few hours of food, dancing with a live DJ and skyline views.
Willis Tower & The Ledge Step outside the tallest building in the western hemisphere and the third tallest in the world. At 1,353 feet in the air, the Ledge s glass boxes extend out 4.3 feet from the Sky Deck. Architectural Boat Tour See all of the varying architectural designs that make up the Chicago skyline from the Chicago River. Field Museum Explore the natural history museum in Chicago, one of the largest such museums in the world. Millennium Park/The Bean Dinner Pizza dinner --- Chicago style! Blue Man Group Comedy. Music, Multimedia Theatrics. Combine all three, add a spot of blue, and you ve got the makings of a totally unique form of entertainment.

All payments need to go through the BMS 8th Grade Trip Portal Students may need spending money if they want to buy souvenirs.
Chaperone sign-up -You will sign up on the trip portal and will be put on a waitlist until we see how many students are going. We will have 8 students/1 adult on the trip. -Cost -2 person room $961 -single room - $1189
MEDICAL FORMS Students must have completed medical forms SIGNED BY a PHYSICIAN turned in by Feb. 1, 2024 for BOTH self-medication and staff administered medication. -PLEASE get those forms done ASAP. -Doctors can fax the forms to BMS #859-381-3109 Any questions, email nurse at 165.allisonpalmour@fayette.kyschools.us FORM A Permission for all medication that faculty will be administering FORM B For any OTC medication or ANY medication WITHOUT a label FORM C For self-administering (ex: asthma, diabetes, etc )
Behavior Policy Students must *have NO suspensions after September 13, 2023 *have no more than 2 assignments to RESET after September 13, 2023 NO refunds will be given if students are kicked off due to behavior AFTER Dec. 15th. Amount paid minus $120 if the incident occurs BEFORE Dec. 15th.
Insurance If you have health insurance, PLEASE be prepared to submit the information when you register your student. You can update in January, if needed. If you do not have insurance of any kind, you must be covered under FCPS. However, insurance through FCPS is very inexpensive and will be good for the entire school year.
How do we sign up? Go to Beaumont 8th Grade Trip Portal Click on Register for This Trip and then create an account. You will then get a confirmation email. Click on the link in the email. Enter the Trip Code BEAUMONTCHICAGO24 Add the student that is going on the trip. Then click on Submit the Remaining Information. Complete the other info, select the student trip, choose the optional insurance if you would like. Lastly, click Proceed to Payment to pay your $75 deposit.
