MAMA PANYAS PANCAKES A VILLAGE TALE FROM KENYA Written by Mary Chamberlin This book is about the importance of sharing even when there is little to give. This can help early childhood children learn to share and socially interact and relates to sharing even when having a low social economic status (Giorgis 213 & 231).
THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR Written by Eric Carle This book relates to nutrition in that if you eat the right foods, they will help you grow to be big, strong, and smart (Giorgis 58).
HOW BIG ARE YOUR WORRIES LITTLE BEAR Written by Jayneen Sanders This book helps children manage and overcome anxiety, anxious thoughts, stress, and fearful situations (Giorgis 195).
