Web-based buying guide for climbing shoes Choosing certain items online is a challenge. This buying guide seeks to make the choice for one such item easier by providing guidance that leads to a more refined set of choices, plus additional information to make the choice easier. This approach aimed to provide some of the in-store expertise given by the green vests who are experts in their respective activities on the web, and bring Expert Advice content out from the content area of the web and into the online experience where it is most useful. I worked with the online merchant and the writing team for expert advice on the concept for this guide, and the Digital Retail UX, IxD, editorial, and production teams to create and launch it. An experience like this was also create for climbing ropes.
