Doctrine = teaching When seen in the singular form, it is referring to the doctrine of Christ. When seen in the plural form, it is referring to the teachings of man. Two possible exceptions: Ephesians 4: 11 - 16 Revelation 2: 15 Plurality Doctrines Matthew 15: 9 Mark 7: 7 Colossians 2: 20 - 23 1 Timothy 4: 1 - 3 Hebrews 13: 9
It is GODS Word Hebrews 1: 1 2 God sent Jesus WITH His Word John 1: 1 4; 14 Jesus said it is GOD S doctrine John 7: 16 17 John says to have one requires we have the other 2 John 9 11 Therefore, it matters WHO we believe and WHAT we believe!
Warnings against separating between GOD and HIS DOCTRINE 1 Timothy 6:1 Titus 2: 7 15 This is why we must NOT be ashamed of CHRIST or His doctrine Luke 9: 26 Romans 1: 16 17 Romans 16: 17 18 2 Timothy 3: 16 17; 2 Timothy 4: 1 - 4
To obey Christ Jesus O is as critical to our salvation as WHAT WE BELIEVE The gospel His Word Given to Him from God the Father And to REJECT one is to reject BOTH! John 12:48 WHO WE BELIEVE is to obey
