MISSION Reach families & children in the greater Tomah area by providing a service that is needed in our community. Reach people with the gospel. Support low-income families who struggle to find daycare. Provide daycare in our community which is a daycare desert.

THE ELDER BOARD HAS ASKED FOR THE CURRENT STEERING COMMITTEE TO VET OUT THE FOLLOWING AREAS OF CONSIDERATION FOR PRESENTATION TO THE CHURCH FAMILY IN JANUARY 2024. LUKE 14 28 SUPPOSE ONE OF YOU WANTS TO BUILD A TOWER. WON T YOU FIRST SIT DOWN AND ESTIMATE THE COST TO SEE IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO COMPLETE IT?29FOR IF YOU LAY THE FOUNDATION AND ARE NOT ABLE TO FINISH IT, EVERYONE WHO SEES IT WILL RIDICULE YOU,30SAYING, THIS PERSON BEGAN TO BUILD AND WASN T ABLE TO FINISH.
THE STEERING COMMITTEE WILL ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING ASPECTS: 1. FACILITY IMPACT: IDENTIFY CHANGES NECESSARY TO OUR EXISTING PROPERTY THAT WOULD PROVIDE THE MOST EFFICIENT SPACE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF STUDENT TO STAFF RATIOS AND CONSIDER THE HEALTH OF THE POTENTIAL STAFF, THE STUDENTS, AND THE CHURCH. 2. STAFF REQUIREMENTS: DEFINE THE NECESSARY STAFFING ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO LAUNCH DAYCARE. 3. BIBLE EFC AND THE CHRISTIAN DAYCARE INTERACTION: CREATE INITIAL PROPOSAL OF HOW THE DAYCARE WOULD FIT WITHIN THE EXISTING STAFFING STRUCTURE OF THE CHURCH, HOW THE ORGANIZATIONS WOULD RELATE TO ONE ANOTHER, AND HOW THE CHURCH WOULD MAINTAIN OVERSIGHT OF THE CHRISTIAN DAYCARE. GOAL: The steering committee will develop a plan to present to the church family that will clarify the scope of a Christian Daycare at Bible Evangelical Free Church.
4. FINANCIAL ANALYSIS STARTUP COSTS: ESTABLISH STARTUP COSTS CONSIDERING AREAS SUCH AS ADJUSTMENTS TO OUR BUILDING, EQUIPMENT, LICENSING AND OTHER NECESSITIES INVOLVED IN PREPARING THE LAUNCH OF THE DAYCARE. FUNDING SOURCES: IDENTIFY FUNDING SOURCES CONSIDERING BOTH FUNDRAISING AND POTENTIAL GRANTS AVAILABLE. OPERATIONAL BUDGET: PROPOSE AN OPERATIONAL BUDGET THAT WILL CONSIDER STAFFING, NUMBER OF CHILDREN, AND ONGOING COSTS OF DAYCARE. ADDITIONALLY, HOW/ IF THE DAYCARE WOULD POTENTIALLY AFFECT THE REGULAR BUDGET OF BIBLE EFC IN AN ONGOING WAY. GOAL: The steering committee will develop a plan to present to the church family that will clarify the scope of a Christian Daycare at Bible Evangelical Free Church.
