Colossians 2: 14 16 Remember, Paul has devoted the entire letter to proving that UNDER CHRIST, there is neither Jew nor Greek! The LAW of clean and unclean meats; and meats offered to idols is ended! Servants are judged by their masters whether Jew of Gentile. As Christians, we live and die unto the Lord! Rather than judging a person s actions, which are not in themselves sinful, we should determine to NOT place stumbling blocks in the paths of our brethren!
FACTS will not make a brother weak holding OPINION as fact makes souls weal! If the STRONG cater to the WEAK to appease rather than TEACH, then we have weakened the strength of God s truth! Eat everything vs. eat vegetables BOTH are accepted by God. Good servant vs. bad servant Only his master can determine God knows BOTH master and servant! Doubtful disputations = OPINION
There are no special days except by individual opinion. As Christians, we don t even live or die to ourselves WE DO IT UNTO THE LORD! (vs. 9) There is never a need to ridicule another: we ALL shall stand before the Lord at Judgment! We must NOT put stumbling blocks in the path of our brethren! DON T let you GOOD be evil spoken of: the Kingdom is SPIRITUAL SERVE GOD! Doubtful disputations = OPINION
Follow things that make for PEACE and EDIFICATION! There is no need to fuss over things that don t matter! It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Doubtful disputations = OPINION
Romans 14: 22 - 23 Faith Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:1 Here = firm conviction established on study and understanding God s word. Don t condemn yourself by your opinions! The danger of DOUBT is the lack of FAITH! James 1: 5 - 8
