  2. Chubb Hospital Indemnity Insurance Chubb Hospital Indemnity is designed to help employees deal with the cost of a hospitalization by providing benefits that can be used to offset out-of-pocket costs associated with hospital admission and confinement. Commitment to craftsmanship P2

  3. Features Conditional Renewability Coverage is automatically renewed as long as the insured is an eligible employee, premiums are paid as due, and the Policy is in force. Portability Employees can keep their coverage if they change jobs or retire while the Policy is in force. Once ported, coverage cannot be cancelled as long as the Policy remains in force and premiums are paid as due. Employees may not port coverage while they are actively employed by the Policyholder. Coverage for Pre-existing Conditions There are no pre-existing condition exclusions. Composite Premium Rates do not vary based on age. No Coordination of Benefits Indemnity benefits are paid regardless of any other medical coverage employees may have. P3

Cash Benefit for Accidents and Sickness Hospital Admission Benefit $1,000/ $2,000 Maximum Admissions Per Calendar Year: 5 This benefit is for admission to a hospital or hospital sub-acute intensive care unit. Hospital Admission ICU Benefit $2,000/ $4,000 Maximum Admissions Per Calendar Year: 5 This benefit is for admission to a hospital intensive care unit. Hospital Confinement Benefit $100/ $200 per day Maximum Days Per Calendar Year: 30 days This benefit is for confinement in hospital or hospital sub-acute intensive care unit. Hospital Confinement ICU Benefit $200/ $400 per day Maximum Days Per Calendar Year: 30 days The benefit for confinement in a hospital intensive care unit. Newborn Nursery Benefit $100/ $100 per day Maximum Days per Confinement - Normal Delivery: 2 /Maximum Days per Confinement - Caesarean Section: 4 This benefit is payable for an insured newborn baby receiving newborn nursery care and who is not confined for treatment of a physical illness, infirmity, disease or injury. Observation Unit Benefit $500/ $750 Maximum Benefit Per Calendar Year: 5 This benefit is for treatment in a hospital observation unit for a period of less than 20 hours. P4
