Positions Available Usher Greeter Information Center Which area(s) would you be willing to serve in?
Usher Three positions per service Position 1- Head Usher will be available for any and all areas of the church. They will mainly be stationed in the sanctuary before service to help seat people and be available to direct the Usher Team. Position 2- One in center of foyer for security purposes as well as directing guests and helping with flow. This person will stay out in the foyer until 5-10 minutes after service starting to make sure there aren t unknown people lingering or lost. Position 3- One person by the sound booth to help seat people coming in from ramp door or back entrance, watch for security in the sanctuary area, and also to help cover the Information Center if the workers assigned are helping other people. Once service begins: Head Usher will come to back of sanctuary to prepare for offering. Usher 2 will stay in foyer to cover security for 5-10 minutes, then come into back of sanctuary by the livestream office to prepare for offering. Usher 3 will stay in back of sanctuary by sound booth for offering. During Service: (Ushers may sit with their families, but please do it in the assigned area) Usher 2 sit by livestream area somewhere in the back row. Usher 3 sit in the back row somewhere near the sound booth. After Service: Head Usher- follow checklist Position 2 will return to foyer for 5-10 minutes for security Position 3 will return by the sound booth to help as needed with Information Center
Greeter Greeter Stand by the front entrance to Family Harvest and greet people as they enter. Open the door for all who come in. Direct anyone and everyone who might be new or need some help. Best thing for people who are new (especially ones who have kids) is to take them to the Usher posted in the foyer so he can direct them to the right areas in the church. Stay posted until 10-15 minutes after service begins.
Information Center Information Center Main Goals Be able to inform congregants of events & help them register if needed Meet new guests and help them fill out the form (give them gift after) 30 minutes before service, turn on computer and iPads in Information Center. Stay in the information Center until worship video plays. After service- stay for about 5-10 minutes to see if there are more guests and/or questions
