  3. Installation Event Schedule with incoming President Recognize the importance Make it special Dress the part!

  4. Lt Governor Opening President, incoming officers & Directors Projects and impact on the community Honor and/or Distinguished History of the club Share the excitement!

  5. Club Officers & Board of Directors Installation Bring the group to the front for all to see Use the installation process as a tool to describe the duties and responsibilities of the jobs Challenge them to maintain high ideals for their Club

  6. New Member Induction Ask President to invite you Represent the District Make it special for the new members & sponsors

  7. New Member Pledge Have a simple, legible copy for the new Member to hold and read from Invite all Club Members to stand and reaffirm their pledge as Optimists

  8. Pledge I, __insert name______, do hereby pledge That I will do my best at all times To live by the spirit of the Optimist Creed And I will also give of my time and talents As generously as possible To support the activities of my club My district and Optimist International.
