  2. Lernentwicklungsgesprche (co-operative study plan meeting) are conferences between parents, teachers and students about the students academcic progress and social skills We will talk WITH the students, not ABOUT them.

Co-operative study plan meetings - objectives Focus on the student Evaluate the student's subject-specific and interdisciplinary competencies Identify development potential(s) Support and advise the student individually in his or her learning process Set learning goals together Highlight the student's personal responsibility for the learning process Review learning progress in follow-up meetings

  4. How we prepare for the meeting Students fill out self- assessment form and prepare themselves for starting the meeting

  5. How we prepare for the meeting All the student s teachers fill in an assessment sheet and the student s academic progress / social behaviour in that particular subject

  6. How the meeting is structured Inroduction by the teacher (course and objectives) Student assesses his strengths and arears of development (self-assessment sheet) Parents give their impression of the student Teacher may add further strengths and areas of development Comparison of self- aseessment and parent/teacher assessment, identification of areas of development What do you want to achieve?

  7. Goal setting positive first person message precise measureable, clear criteria realistic, achievable with time limit The goal is recorded in the LEG minutes

  8. Follow up If needed/wanted, interim progress meeting between class teacher and student In grades 5-7 weekly target in logbook possible Reference to the learning agreement in the report text of the semester report possible second LEG in the second semester with repeated assessment
