To work together to find creative ways to make a positive difference in dementia care 2. To hear the voices of people from marginalised, vulnerable, and underserved groups about what matters to them 3. To find new ways to do research that mean more people with dementia can take part

This could include: - Printing and posting - Accessible text (e.g. Helvetica, Size 18) - Zoom generally preferred over Teams - Check-ins - Adjusting involvement if necessary - Be open to project journey and output - Create a practical budget to allow for diverse PPI engagement - Use NIHR s standard of payment - 25 per hour
Top tips Don t make assumptions: keep asking questions and keeping connected Be willing to make changes to the ways you are working together Encourage honesty and openness about how things are going Speak to other project teams to share learning and best practice You will generate your own list of top tips from what you learn about the people you are working with. Remember that everyone is different!
Why is co-production important to you? What helps?
