  2. Colac Otway Shire Grants Program aims to provide an opportunity for a wide range of groups to obtain a share of the grant funds. A total pool of $311,500 is available. This will result in a varied range of projects and events within the Colac Otway Shire. Objectives

Community Grants Program Community Grants Program Grants from $2,001 - $10,000 are available Community Events & Support Program Community Events & Support Program Grants up to $5,000 for established events. Grants up to $2,000 for new start up or one-off events. Grants up to $10,000 for major community organised events major community organised events of regional significance. *specific conditions apply. Grant categories COPACC hire assistance grants are available up to 50% of the cost of standard room hire. Max. grant is $5,000. Small Grants Program Small Grants Program Grants up to $2,000 are available. (min $200) Building Fa ade Improvement Program Building Fa ade Improvement Program Grants up to $3,000 are available. Small Business Environmental Sustainability Program Small Business Environmental Sustainability Program Grants up to $5,000 are available. All grants require a matching $1: $1 contribution

  4. Who is eligible Community Events and Support (Category 2) Event must be held in the Colac Otway Shire Schools are eligible to apply for COPACC hire assistance. Small Business Environmental Sustainability Program (Category 5) Each funding Category has eligibility criteria. Businesses located in Colac Otway Shire Has a turnover of less than $10 million. Building Fa ade Improvement Program (Category 4) Community Grants (Category 1) Small Grants (Category 3) Community groups and Clubs check eligibility in the Guidelines Businesses that have street frontage, must be located in the commercial retail area of towns within the Colac Otway Shire

What type of activities may be funded Environmental projects Equipment purchases Community initiatives Training for volunteers Community activities that encourage participation Festivals and Events Projects to revitalise community & recreation facilities Building fa ade improvements in commercial retail areas What is not funded Check the Guidelines as some items are not eligible Arts and culture projects Business energy efficiency upgrades
