Accounting matters matter Basic rules: - the Grant shall be used only to cover according to the budget plan, direct expenses of the Project incurred during the Implementation Period - any changes should be reported to MUL and sometimes they should be a priori accepted by IVF (over 1000 EUR) - reimbursement on the basis of accountingnote with a described invoice and confirmtion of payment for the properly executed service (template for accounting note is an Annex to the partnership agreement, I will send it to Dr. Tereza Padtrov and Dr. Krist na Piatni kov with the detailed project budget till the end of March) - only bank transfer transactions The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. Important accounting project regulations - Expert fees for preparing and conducting the seminar only civil contracts are allowed!! - There is no expert fees for conducting or attending study visits, so it would be good to choose the same experts for study visits who held open lectures or online seminar as they are paid for it and content will be in the same research area - Overheads are only granted to the Main Applicant, so the main administrative effort is contributed to the MUL - The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International VisegradFund. One-line meeting, for students/ PhD students/ young researchers (EventPrivate), Lublin, PL 29.03.2022-29.03.2022 A 1-day seminar (ca. 8 didactic hours) will be prepared by experts from the participating V4 Universities for students/ PhD students and/or young researchers who will register to take part in the training on drug discovery. The participants (10 from each partner) will be selected in an open and transparent recruitment process based on the pre-defined selection criteria (e.g., date of application, research activity (e.g., participation in conferences, co-authorship of the publication), grade point average for the last semester, research interest declared, an additional criterium for MUL: knowledge of behavioral techniques used in experimental pharmacology with experimental animals . Stakeholders Event (on-line) 14/04/2023 14/04/2023 One-day international event (on-line, ca. 6-8 hours) addressed to presenting the effects of the project to external stakeholders, such as: regional, supra-regional and foreign researchers, science institutions, academic community, pharmaceutical companies, local and regional authorities, NGOs, etc. It is estimated that around 50-100 people will take part in the event. The meeting will start with the presentation of the Visegrad Fund, the project and the participating institutions. Lectures and discussion panels will be held by scientists - experts engaged in the project in thematic sub-groups, e.g., a discussion panel dedicated to the representatives of pharmaceutical companies; another one to local and regional authorities; and to students and young researchers. e.g., from the Medical University of Lublin, Poland: Ewa K dzierska: Animal models and tests used in the pharmacological in vivo experiments and drug development The event will provide an opportunity to establish inter-institutional cooperation and collaboration with the industry and Universities in the region of V4 and beyond.
Open lectures 01/05/202215/05/2023 A series of 5 open lectures for the general public will be organized in each participating country (altogether 15 lectures). In order to gather a large number of participants and a greater understanding of the lectures, they will be conducted by each Partner in their own language (Polish, Czech and/or Slovak). The events will be open to the general public. The topics of the lectures related to the main topic and assumption of the project e.g., from the Medical University of Lublin: Marta Kruk-S omka: Pharmacotherapy in pregancy and lactation (October 2022) Target group: Wide group of the general population from V4 countries interested in subjects related to medicine/pharmacy, drug discovery and prevention/treatment of diseases: about 300 people will take part in the open lectures (ca. 20 people per lecture). It is estimated that another +300 people will watch the recorded lectures that will be available on the project s website.
Publications (Product) 01/10/202231/05/2023 4 joint publications in peer-reviewed journals will be published: 1 in an international journal (in English) and 3 in national journals (in national languages of the consortium). Publications will be available in an open access. Publications will contain information about the project financing from the Visegrad Fund. The publications will significantly contribute to the dissemination and popularization of the common approach developed in the project. All partners and academics/students from the V4 countries will be engaged. Target group: supra-regional and foreign researchers, students, science institutions, academic community, V4 community: over 100 and beyond All V4 Partners: preparation of bibliography and the final version of publications. Each partner will be responsible for preparing their part of the joint international publication and for preparing the national publication. The leader will be responsible for the international publication. Sponsored article in a selected internet portal about the implementation and results of the project will also be prepared. All partners will disseminate project results at conferences in their country and at international conferences.
