  7. Baseball The number of coaches that we have returning and wanting to coach for CSLL is very high. We are providing a good place for them to coach. Developing the coaches with clinics and meetings so they have proper training for the season. Our baseball All Star program was successful this year. Even though we fell just short of winning districts, they all went deep into their respective tournaments. Our relationship with the city is strong and continues to grow. They have been a great partner to CSLL.

  8. Softball CSLL Softball had strongest growth in 2022 Springs 2022: Minors (3 teams); Majors (4 teams); Juniors/Seniors (2 teams) Fall 2022: Tee Ball (3 teams); Minors (4 teams) Launched first Juniors / Seniors division Springs 2022 Launched first Tee Ball division Fall 2022 Successfully competed in the All-Star tournaments Minors: District runner-up Majors: District & State Champs; Advanced to Regionals in Waco, TX Seniors: Competed in Districts for the first-time ever 2023 Outlook: Looking to add to our record growth across key divisions Continued focus on player development to build competitive league and to successfully compete in the post-season tournaments

  9. Challenger Background & Current info: Provides an opportunity for individuals with intellectual and physical challenges to enjoy the benefits of Little League in an environment structured to their abilities. Individuals ages 4-18 participate in the Little League Challenger Division while those 15 and above (no maximum age) participate in the Senior League Challenger Division. This year we completed our 13th season. 128 players this season. Most ever. Future Challenges: Cost has been $25 for nearly a decade. May need to consider changing. Expenses are on the rise: uniforms, baseballs (as required), tees (as required), water, Gatorade, and end-of-season trophies Sourcing buddies is always a challenge. We were short about 40 buddies each week outside the Friday night game and final game of the year Adding 1 game to the season

  10. Umpires Found the right assigner in Jorge Lacajo (Pikes Peak Sports Officials) who is willing and able to give us an improved product. We are in the process of setting up field training and training to go over local rules. He is on board in forcing his umpires that they need to attend. Not a lot of volunteer interest. We had a couple in the Spring and Fall. That is a start. Need to generate more youth and parent interest. Stick with evaluation system. Some adjustments will be made. Helps identify the caliber of umpires and which coaches are problematic. Spend more time with the coaches going over rules (especially safety rules)

  11. Umpires
