It is all about the VISION At Bard Academy and Bard College at Simon's Rock, age doesn't define intellect: our mission is to inspire the curiosity and creativity of motivated younger scholars with a challenging, empowering, and inclusive education in the liberal arts and sciences.
Partnerships make things happen for our students The purpose of the Early College Initiative grant is to create and maintain partnerships that connect our state s districts and high schools with our state s colleges, in order to give thousands of Massachusetts students access to college completion and career success. By exposing students at a younger age, to college-level learning, motivation to persist in college-level work will increase. As a result, students who may have previously identified as not intending to go to college will experientially learn that they are able to do college-level work.

The big questions for our next meeting What are the hopes, dreams, and aspirations that our community has for our young people? What are the skills and mindsets that our children need for success in this rapidly changing and complex world? What are the implications for the design of the learning experiences and equitable access to those experiences we provide in our school systems?
