24thMarch 2022 Capturing the needs of our communities Workshop Session
Where we are now? Over the last 6 months the partnership has already worked collectively to bring together the needs and experiences of the communities you work with. This has enabled the partnership to use our collective intelligence in numerous strategies and plans being developed. Where would we like to be ? To be a strong community sector with a strategic voice and to influence, we need to be able to collectively demonstrate the breadth of what we do and its impact. 24th March 2022 We also have an opportunity to capture the needs and experiences of our communities as we work in and with them. A regular report that would do this for the community sector would be a useful evidence base for us all as organisations, showing us where there are opportunities to do new things that people need and support you in funding applications. This insight and intelligence would complement the information statutory services collect and ensure our community partnership VCSE representatives are feeding back into boards on behalf of you all.
Workshop Aim: co-produce a mechanism to report on community impact, insights and intelligence (consider the following): Would you want to be part of this? What way of gathering and recording would work for you? How often & when should we collect the insights and impacts? How should we share the feedback, how do you want to see it? Are there any risks we need to consider? 24th March 2022 30 minutes in your tables to go through this using the prepared sheets one person on each table to write down the group's thoughts.
Next Steps Healthwatch will take away your ideas and design a solution Share this at the next community partnership event and go live with collecting the insights and impacts 24th March 2022
