2009 Spring Community Planning Partnership asks Maryhill Integration Network (MIN) to develop a new network for City Centre and West End Network of community groups and agencies starts meeting September Development Worker and Administrative Assistant in post (at MIN) October- December Consultations on draft Constitution First events (Black History Month, 16 Days of Action)
2010 January Adoption of constitution of Central and West Integration Network (CWIN) Directory shares information on 26 member organisations Weekly Information Bulletin starts Open Day to celebrate launch of CWIN, Garnethill 16 June 28 Inaugural General Meeting. Committee elected September October Office moves to Garnethill Multicultural Centre Throughout 2010/11 Funding allocated to a wide range of member groups to support their activities
2011/12 55% cut in council funding to Integration Networks across city; joint budget for 3 North West area networks. They agree to keep their separate identities. Search for new funding, development of CWIN led activities e.g. cookery classes, play schemes, Stay Well for older BME groups December 2011 Food distribution project starts, planned by Glasgow University placement student 2012 Commonwealth Games Legacy planning conference
2013 Allotment garden, Parent and Child project etc. 2014 First Robert Burns event Volunteer support project Activities from Whiteinch to Townhead 2015 Members survey: everyone says CWIN is serving our communities well Growing numbers using food bank First Interfest for Refugee Week 2016 Distribution of Refugee Survival Trust destitution grants begins Scottish Government Fairer Food funding awarded to develop drop-in Community research on Food Security for All New website launched
