Comparing Adjectives Words that explain the difference in size between objects.
Three Forms Positive Comparative Superlative The positive or adjective form is the base word. Comparative adjectives end in -er. They are used to compare two things. Superlative adjectives end in -est. They are used to compare more than two items.
