  3. Summer competitive track program Offer practices four nights a week Local high school and collegiate athletes are our coaches Local, state and regional meets Each family decides how little or how much they want to participate in the meets No tryouts, we accept everyone!

  4. Practice begins Monday, June 9 Monday through Thursday 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. (Kathy/Alissa will be there at 5:45 to ensure everyone is registered) End time is approximate, parents should be prepared for pick Last day of practice is Thursday, July 24. No practice June 19, June 30 & July 1-3. parents should be prepared for pick- -up by 7:30 up by 7:30 Practices are at Eagan High School 4185 Braddock Trail Eagan, MN 55123

Minimum Registration: Register athletes on the club website All athletes need to be registered with AAU and have a current AAU member number Information is on the website Make sure you are affiliated with our club Optional Registration Anyone competing at USATF meets with the club need to have a current USATF membership and be age verified Age verification is through the national office and can take 5-7 days.

  6. All REAL club participants must obtain an AAU membership for liability insurance purposes. Memberships must be paid prior to participation including practice. Annual membership fee: $20 To obtain membership go to: http://aauathletics.org Select Sport: Track & Field REAL Track and Field

The athletes year of birth determines the competitive division as follows: Ages 8 & under Age 9 Age 10 Age 11 Age 12 Age 13 Age 14 Age 15 & 16 Age 17 & 18 2017 & after 2016 2015 2014 2013 2012 2011 2009-2010 2007-2008* *Athletes who are still eighteen (18) years of age through the final day of the AAU Junior Olympic Games shall be eligible to compete in the 17 18-year- olds division.

  10. June 21-22, Brooklyn Center High School Registration Deadline: TBD $25 fee to enter Brooklyn Center, MN All athletes will be registered by the club Top 16 athletes for each event qualify for the Regional National Qualifying meet

  11. June 26-June 29 Mounds View High School, Arden Hills, MN Qualifying: Top 6 athletes from each event at the Regional AAU Meet Registration will be available on the REAL website All athletes will be registered through the club with AAU Entry Fee $30/athlete

  12. Five two-year age divisions Ages as of 12/31/2025: 8 and under (2017)* 9 and 10 (2015-2016) 11 and 12 (2013-2014) 13 and 14 (2011-2012) 15 and 16 (2009-2010) 17 and 18 (2007-2008)** * Athletes must be at least seven years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the Junior Olympics. **Athletes who are still 18 through the final day of the USATF Junior Olympics are eligible to compete in the 17-18 age division through that meet. Athletes turning 18 in 2025 will need to take SafeSport Training in order to compete.

  13. June 14-17 (last two days are multi-events) Lakeville South High School Lakeville, MN REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 12, 2025 Need USATF membership number (and age verified); membership. If you have already been age verified, you will be good to go! Register athlete via club website (open by the end of May) We will register everyone together with USATF Fee $10 per individual event; $40 for relays Triathlon/Pentathlon $14; Heptathlon/Decathlon $20 June 12, 2025 Birth certificate verification takes place when you purchase a Fee $10 per individual event; $40 for relays; Triathlon/Pentathlon $14; Heptathlon/Decathlon $20 More Information Meet flyer will be posted on the club website when it becomes available.

July 10-13, 2025 Iowa State University Ames, Iowa Qualifying: Athlete must qualify by placing in the top 8 places for individual events at the State Meet Registration will be available through the REAL website All athletes will be registered through the club More information: USATFMN.org website

  15. AAU Junior Olympic Games July 23-August 2, 2025 Houston, TX USATF Junior Olympic Track & Field Championship July 21-July 27, 2025 Savannah, Georgia

Overall meet registrations will be handled by the club Athletes need to be registered through our REAL website for the meets Fees and selected events must be provided through the REAL website prior to meet registration deadline. Kathy/Alissa will handle getting everyone registered. If you have questions, email at REALTrackandField10@gmail.com To verify an athlete's registration for AAU & USATF go to Athletic.net Scroll down the calendar, select the applicable meet, then select performance list.

  18. Our club is hosting this meet This meet has a ton of volunteer opportunities More than 400 athletes of all ages attend Great community event!

  19. For each athlete, one volunteer shift required. Sign ups available on the website through Signup Genius Links. Most volunteer commitments are for the Eagan All- Comer meet All hands-on deck! $200 check needed on first day of practice in order to practice. Checks kept until the end of the season. If volunteer commitment is not met, check will be cashed.

  20. Not a requirement, but if you want to run in a relay, you will need a uniform. Attendees competing at the Junior Olympics will need a uniform. Go to the Announcements tab for a link to the uniform site. We have a local vendor that can get our uniforms quickly. Please place your order by 10 p.m. on May 27 to guarantee uniform for June 14th USATF meet. https://realtrack.mnprintnstitch.com/ If you want something that isn t on the site, let us know and we can add it to the site. If you have an old uniform, that is fine to wear! We also have a bin of old uniforms that you are welcome to use!
