IGEOS 5thIGEOS : International Geography seminar and PIT IGI 2021 Results and Discussion Results and Discussion Based on statistical data on foreign trade, in general, non-oil and gas products increased more than fluctuating oil and gas, as seen from 2010 to 2020. And for the trend from 2015 to 2020, the increase in exports that continued to increase was non-oil and gas, as can be seen in the picture below. This decline was due to the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic and it happened in almost every country.
IGEOS 5thIGEOS : International Geography seminar and PIT IGI 2021 Results and Discussion Results and Discussion The export destination of Ogan Ilir Regency is 79.98 percent to APEC group countries. The biggest export destinations are China, Malaysia, United States, Japan, and South Korea. The rest of Ogan Ilir Regency exports to the European Union, namely to Germany, Latvia and the Netherlands. IGEOS 5thIGEOS : International Geography seminar and PIT IGI 2021 Conclution Conclution The conclusion of this study shows that each sub-district has a different level of competitiveness of biopharmaceutical commodities. There are four sub-districts that have quite good export performance and have strong comparative and competitive advantages in biopharmaceutical commodities. Biopharmaceutical commodities that have export competitiveness are turmeric, ginger and galagal. The three plants have good competitiveness due to the suitability of the land and the abundance of these commodities as plants that are widely cultivated by farmers in Ogan Ilir Regency.
