Morphology A deciduous, small or middle sized tree with crooked trunk and spreading branches. Branchlets glabrous or finely pubescent, 0-20 cm long, often deciduous. Leaves- subsessile, 1-3 cm long, 2.5-3 mm wide, closely set along the branchlets, light green, glabrous, narrowly linear, obtuse, having the appearance of pinnately compound leaves, stipules ovate, finely acute
Flowers & Fruit Flowers- greenish yellow, in axillary fascicles, on the leaf bearing branchlets Male flo- numerous, on short slender pedicels, sepals 6, oblong, obtuse, anthers 3 on a short central column Female flo- few, subsessile, ovary 3 celled Fruit- 1-1.5 cm diameter, fleshy globose, with 6 obscure vertical furrows, pale yellow, of three 2 seededcrustacious cocci
