Compton High School = $201,530,000 - Jan 2025 Construction of a replacement high school facility on 30 acres with a two-story Academic Building (140,639 SF) with forty-two (42) classrooms, eight (8) science labs, four (4) physics labs, five (5) Career Technical Education (CTE) workshops, student dining, lunch shelter, kitchen and administration offices; a one-story Performance Arts Center (40,868 SF) with a 900 seat auditorium, lobby, concessions & ticketing, dance & drama studio, orchestra room, chorus room, digital music lab and video production lab; a one- story Gymnasium (36,534 SF) with one (1) main basketball court or three (3) practice basketball courts, Boys & Girls locker rooms, lobby, concessions & ticketing, weight room, training room, fitness room, wrestling room and swimming pool stadium. Site improvements include a new Football Stadium with track and field, aluminum bleachers, a 390 SF press box, a visitor s restroom and concession building, eight (8) tennis courts, four (4) outdoor basketball courts, parking lots and a California Native Landscaped outdoor environment.
Compton High School; Athletic Fields = $33m Modernize existing Baseball, Softball and Soccer Fields to include a new One-Story 10,000SF Fieldhouse, a new Baseball Field, a new Softball Field, a new Soccer Field and new Walking Paths and Gardens.
MEASURE AAA November 8, 2022 = voters approved $350,000,000 (77.6% passage rate) Issued for the purpose of fixing deteriorating roofs, plumbing, heating, electrical, and other systems, enhance school safety, and construct, reconstruct, renovate, rehabilitate and modernize classrooms, sites and facilities, including media and performing arts centers, technology centers and athletic complexes Centennial HS - new full Site Construction project; architect selection February 2024 Dominguez HS - new Cafeteria/Kitchen project
