  2. zero condition The zero conditional is used to talk about general truths, facts, and situations that are always true when a certain condition is met. If + Present simple + present simple * If +S + V + C .. , S + v + c . If it rains, the ground gets wet. If you mix blue and yellow, you get green. If you drop something, it falls to the ground. If you don't water plants, they die. If you eat too much, you gain weight. If you heat ice, it melts.

  3. If the sun sets, it gets dark. If you mix baking soda and vinegar, it fizzes. If you add salt to water, it dissolves. If you exercise regularly, you stay healthy.

  4. first condition first conditional: is a type of conditional sentence used to talk about real or possible future situations. It expresses a condition that is likely to happen along with its probable result. _ If +Present simple + future simple _ If + S + v + c , S + will + v+ c .. If you study hard, you will pass the exam. If she arrives on time, we will start the meeting. If they miss the bus, they will be late for school. If I finish my work early, I will go for a walk.

  5. If you don't water the plants, they will die. If you ask politely, she will help you. If the weather is nice, we will have a picnic. If I don't set an alarm, I will oversleep. If he eats too much, he will feel sick.

  7. second conditional second conditional: is a type of conditional sentence used to talk about hypothetical or unreal situations in the present or future. __ It is formed with the past simple tense in the if-clause (condition) and the present conditional (would + base verb) in the main clause (result). If + past simple , present conditional (would + base verb) If + S + v( regular or irregular ) + c .. , S + would + v + c . _ Examples 1- If I won the lottery, I would travel around the world. 2- If I were you, I would apply for that job. 3- If I had more time, I would learn to play the guitar. 4- If it weren't raining, we would go to the beach. 5- If she studied harder, she would get better grades. 6-If I had a million dollars, I would buy a big house. 7- If I lived in Paris, I would visit the Louvre every weekend. 8- If I were taller, I would be able to reach the top shelf. 9- If it were warmer, we would have a barbecue. 10- If I didn't have to work tomorrow, I would go to the concert.
