  1. Multiple SSID With Multiple VLANs configuration example on Cisco Aironet APs By Surendra B.G TAC Engineer, Cisco Systems.

  2. Config Check points Assumption:- I assume that you have configured the DHCP pool on the IOS switch or the Router or on the dedicated DHCP server. Design:- Assuming we have 2 VLANs (51 and 52 ) with native as 10 and mapping to 2 different SSIDs (one and two) on any Aironet Access Points. SSID ONE uses WEP encryption SSID TWO uses WPA-PSK Assuming the AP Ethernet port is connected to Gig 0/7 port of the switch. Broadcasting both the SSIDs.

  3. Check Points Step 1>> Configure the SSID and Map it to respective VLANS.. Step 2 >> Assigning the Encryption to different SSIDs with respective VLANs. Step 3 >> Configuring the sub interface for Dot11 radio 0/1 and Ethernet. Step 4>> Verification.

  4. Check Point Switchport configuration interface GigabitEthernet0/7 description 1141 AP IOS switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q switchport trunk native vlan 10 switchport mode trunk end
