  1. The Hoopster Conflict Resolution

  2. JOURNAL ENTRY: The Hoopster Chapter 9 (p. 116) I became a victim when I let my chance to go to college get away. I had it and let it go. I can blame this or I can blame that, but I had my dream right there in front of me and I let it get away. Pops How can we apply this quote to our lives? What is Pops trying to teach Andre?

  3. What is conflict resolution? Conflict resolution is a range of methods for eliminating sources of conflict. Conflict is any type of opposition. Resolving conflict in a peaceful and nonviolent way should be the goal of both parties involved in conflict.

  4. Brainstorm Get into a group of three and brainstorm ways to resolve conflict without violence. Attempt to create a list of five ways to eliminate or resolve conflict. You have five minutes.

  5. Journal Prompt If you could make one change that would help stop the violence young people experience, what would it be?
