  1. BELIEVING IN ALLAH SWT AND ALL OF HIS ATTRIBUTES. By Aaminah Abdur-Rahman

  2. Belief Believing in Allah SWT is at the core of our religion and is the most important part of Islam. As Muslims we believe Allah SWT is the creator of all things, and is eternal. We believe in the oneness of Allah SWT, there is nothing like Him and nothing worthy of worship but Him. No imagination can fully conceive Him and no understanding can fully comprehend Him. Believing these things is the first step to becoming a successful Muslim in the eyes of Allah SWT and learning what we can to helps strengen these beliefs and please our lord.

  3. Pleasing Allah SWT In our daily lives we should try to go out of our way to do something solely to please Allah SWT. Doing extra chores or simply being kind to others pleases Allah SWT and also makes us feel happy and satisfied by doing something good. Good deeds can be very easy to come by and when doing them to please Allah SWT they benefit us even more. We should try to make doing good deeds a habit and second nature so that our lives and maybe even the lives of others around us improve with Allah SWT s mercy.

  4. Additional Prayers As Muslims we pray five times throughout the day to help us remember our lord Allah SWT. Praying also helps us refocus our lives and our purpose and become more at peace with ourselves and our lives. Praying also helps us get closer to Allah SWT and form a bond with Him. Praying additional or sunnah prayers, helps us get closer to Allah SWT and form a strong, loving bond with Him.

  5. Being Conscious of Allah SWT In the busy hubbub of our daily lives, it can be easy to forget who our lord is and what our purpose is, which is why it is important to stop and pray throughout the day. However, we should also try to remember and be conscious of the fact that Allah SWT is always watching us. When we are constantly aware of this it can help us refrain from doing things we know we should not be doing. Being constantly aware of Allah SWT can also help us feel safe and protected, knowing that Allah SWT is always there to help us whatever the problem, and that everything that happens is from Him.
