Trip Objectives Introduce students to professional level music making experiences. Develop stronger interpersonal connections within our instrumental music program Continue to grow our band and orchestra program Have a blast making memories with our music family. Who can go on the trip? Any student enrolled in a band or orchestra class at Coronado High School for the 2023-2024 school year. Symphonic Band Wind Ensemble Jazz Ensemble 1 and 2 Percussion Chamber Orchestra Symphony Orchestra
Day 1 Day 1 - Friday, March 22, 2024 OVERNIGHT MANHATTAN Meet your AdvantEdge Tours Representative at Denver International Airport for check-in Depart Denver with TBA Airlines Arrival in New York Upon arrival retrieve your luggage, board the waiting coach and transfer to your hotel in the Manhattan area for check-in Dinner (at own expense) Enjoy a concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center Return to the hotel
Day 2 Day 2 - Saturday, March 23, 2024 OVERNIGHT MANHATTAN Breakfast at the hotel Take the subway downtown to board the ferry to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty Visit of the reflecting pools of the National September 11 Lunch (at own Expense) Take the Subway to Summit One Vanderbilt for a breathtaking view of the city Return to the hotel to freshen up Group Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe (or similar) Enjoy an evening at the NYC Philharmonic
Day 3 Day 3 - Sunday, March 24, 2024 OVERNIGHT MANHATTAN Breakfast at the hotel Walk to Radio City Music Hall for your guided tour Lunch (at own Expense) around Rockefeller Plaza In the afternoon enjoy a 60-minute Broadway Workshop taught by a professional trained clinician. This workshop will be taught by a person who will perform at the show you chose for tonight. After your workshop visit the Broadway Museum for a self- guided tour Return back to the hotel to freshen up Dinner (at own expense) We will meet in front of the TBA Theatre Evening the Broadway Musical TBA Meet outside of the theatre and walk back to the hotel.
Day 4 Day 4 - Monday, March 25, 2024 DEPARTURE Breakfast at the hotel followed by check out Board the motorcoach and drive to the airport Arrival at New York Airport for check in Depart New York TBA Airport with TBA Airlines Arrival back at Denver International Airport
