  2. Introduction to Counseling I became interested in counseling after my sister had a stress meltdown. I came to realization that I wanted to be there for people in psychological need. My interest was further fueled after I read one of my sister s psychology text books. By pursuing a career in Counseling, not only would I be doing something I would enjoy, but I would have a great time receiving the education needed to get there.

  3. Introduction to Audio/Video Communications I chose Audio Video Communications because my I ve seen people editing videos and it just looked really cool. It looks like something that would take precision and skill. I ve done a few sound editing projects myself and it was quite load of fun.

  4. Counseling Basic Overview The main purpose of counseling is to provide support and solutions on a variety of aspects for either individuals or larger groups such as families or smokers. They may also recommend you to a higher authority such as rehab

  5. Jobs Available in Field Drug Counseling School Counselor Marriage Counselor Anger Management Person Evaluation

  6. Perks I get to meet interesting people I get to build a safe environment that people feel comfortable in I learn to evaluate others but also myself

  14. Final Thoughts After researching these 2 careers I mostly learned salary and education information. Aside from what I learned I also came to a possible verdict as to what I might end up choosing. I want to work for the social services either in the counseling or evaluation department. I want to work in a field the betters the world in which we live.
