  1. B2022 School Games County Legacy Plans Headline summary

  2. Key reflections Key reflections 1. Time: a lot of progress has been made locally however it is clear that counties need more time to carry out youth consultation, reflect on insight and to collaborate on how the CWG could have the greatest impact locally. Each county has until the 23rd December to update their county legacy plans. 2. Tackling inequalities: the majority of plans were focused on tackling inequalities from a AP perspective but less so from the SGO network. More insight/youth voice is needed to determine how this investment can be used to support CYP who need the most support to be active. The majority of counties plan to carry out youth consultation and establish youth forums where needed in the next 4-6 weeks. 3. Budget breakdowns: the budget breakdown for both Active Partnerships and SGOs was very light and we need a clear budget breakdown to approve each county plan. An updated budget breakdown for both the AP and each SGO is needed by the 23rd December. 4. Support needs: there were a number of consistent areas where support and national collaboration would be valued. Areas include youth consultation, teacher and young leader CPD, virtual challenges, communication plans and links to B2022 learning resources. 5. Continue to innovate and be bold: through youth consultation, continue to be creative in co-designing inspiring and engaging CWG themed opportunities with young people, for young people.
