Contact Tracing of a Positive Case Vaccinated If a person is deemed a contact and is vaccinated, no quarantine necessary Watch for symptoms and get tested if any symptoms develop May choose to test with PCR test after 5-7 days Unvaccinated If a person is deemed a contact and is not vaccinated, a quarantine for 7 days is instituted Day 0 and Day 7 testing is performed or when/if symptoms develop Positive test move to isolation Saint Michael s College
If a person is symptomatic and has had Covid within past 90 days Regardless of vaccine status, the person should seek care from their healthcare provider (for students: Bergeron Wellness Center) Clinical judgement and consultation with public health experts will determine course of action and need to assess for re- infection of Covid.
