Developing Educational Material for the 21stCentury Learner
Training Goal To make publishers aware of the competencies the NSC seeks to develop within our youth so that the learning material they produce will be at the required standard.
Objectives Participants will: Understand the curriculum framework and the philosophies that drive it Learn the principles and methodologies being promoted by the NSC Learn how to interpret the curriculum document for each grade level Determine evidence of 21stcentury skill development Determine the extent to which assessment tasks facilitate the development and measurement of subject content and 21stcentury skills Develop excerpts of textbooks and workbooks that are aligned to the NSC
