  5. MBCG Needs Assessment

  6. MBCG Needs Assessment Revenue & Cost Model: We will create a comprehensive revenue and cost model for the intitial project, with a "sensitivity analysis" to assess high-end and low-end assumptions in terms of potential costs and revenues. Funding Research: We will research possible funding options based on the needs indicated in the Revenue & Cost model for the initial project. Background Research: We will assess previous work that has been done, such as the work commissioned by PGSS, and get an in-depth understanding of all of the issues facing day care at McGill. I know we've discussed many of them together, but to make a strong argument for future funding, we want to ensure we have a full picture of the issues. Qualitative Research: We will interview professors and staff at McGill and select other universities. This will allow us to get a better sense of the issues as they relate to potential recruitment candidates. It will also add a personal element to the case for future funding Academic Research: We will conduct an overview of any academic research or literature that has been done on the topic Benchmarking Research: We will benchmark the services offered at institutions and compare them to McGill Written Report: We will provide you with a written report of our findings and give recommendations. Powerpoint Presentation: We will prepare a Powerpoint deck that you may be able to use in future presentations to McGill executive bodies in the request for future funding.
