  1. Childrens Mental Health Week Monday 6th February to Sunday 12th February 2023 The National Literacy Trust in partnership with REY Paper and poet Caleb Parkin.

  2. Heading here Monday is moon-day. Today, you re invited to do some metaforaging (from metaphor and foraging ). The moon is Finish off this sentence using words or phrases found in different books. Example: The moon is the fifty greatest women in the world. The moon is the entrance to Narnia.   3. Heading here Tuesday s name came from Tyr, who had similarities to the Roman god of war, Mars. But instead of war, let s consider Calm . Write about Calm as if it is a real thing you can see or touch. Start with Calm is and answer these questions: What colour is it? What does it sound like? What does it taste like?   5. Heading here Thursday is from Thor s Day God of Thunder. As we re thinking about thunder, let s create a weather forecast, but for our own weather . Think about how you feel at certain times in the day. If each of those feelings were a weather, what would it be?   6. Heading here Friday came from the Norse god Frigg, the god of love. Think about who or what you love? What is it about that thing or person that you love the most? Why do you love that person?
