Credit for Prior Learning Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) is credit awarded forlearning gained outside of a traditional postsecondary academic environment Ideally, the knowledge and skills line up with learning outcomes for existing courses at each institution Awarding CPL supports the Board s goal to increase higher education attainment among Kansans 2
