Students may apply for credit transfer of 0-6 units based on contact hours, language levels, and course performance.   1. CREDIT-TRANSFER APPLICATION -Students may be considered for 0-6 units of courses for credit transfer; depending on three criteria, (i) the number of contact hours (14 hours for one unit), (ii) language levels (iii) performance in the course -We are not able to guarantee the results of credit-transfer application before they finish the course. If the students have any concern, please don't enrol the summer course to avoid false expectation . -Some students may not be able to transfer the credit as they repeat the level at the university that they completed at CUHK. -The credit transfer application is restricted to language courses only.

  2. CREDIT-TRANSFER APPLICATION About your group level in France : After your placement test (one the first day), make sure you are in an appropriate group : ask other CUHK student, if any, what level they have studied in CUHK; compare the CUHK course outlines (available on the French Common Room) to yours. If you think the level is wrong, tell your teacher, the level coordinator and the general office of the school there within the first week ! Group change will not be possible after the first week.

APPLICATION FOR THE CONSULATES SCHORLARSHIP APPLICATION All students going to France will be considered for the scholarship You must apply to the LIN Department General Office : with an application form and a copy of your transcript. from 1 March 2019 to 29 March 2019 for record and application for financial support The application form is available on the LIN website : The recipients will be informed of their selection during the first term of the next academic year (~October 2019) Consulate s link : https://hongkong.consulfrance.org/Summer-French-language-course-scholarships
