In In- -depth depth review review Halfway to 2030 - lessons learned from providing statistics for SDGs topic seleced by CES Bureau for in-depth review in February 2025 The in-depth reviews aim to address the pertinent issues that statistical offices deal with today, and to scan the horizon for the upcoming issues that they may need to deal with tomorrow. 2

  3. Preparatory Preparatory work work The reviews are based on a paper prepared by some countries or organizations Poland invited to lead the work Task Team on Lessons Learned set in April 2024 (Poland, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Spain, UNECE) 3

  4. Scope Scope Statistical areas selected for in-depth review: I. Measurement disaggregation efficiency II. Coordination, cooperation and partnership III. Data communication IV. Innovations in response to SDGs impact of multiple crises on SDGs 4

  5. Crucial Crucial contents contents Main issues and challenges considered from a strategic and future- oriented viewpoint Concrete recommendations and proposals to the Bureau Proposed actions taking into account the limited resources of statistical offices 5

  6. Overview Overview of of work work Questionnaire on lessons learned circulated among CES countries contributions from 41 countries, including country practices, country challenges, success stories and lessons learned Output from the workshop (session on lessons learned) 9 presentations with national and international practices conclusions from discussion 6
