Dante, De vulgari eloquentia, XI, & Aquilegienses et Ystrianos cribremus, qui Ces fas tu? crudeliter accentuando eructuant. Prendiamo ad esempio quelli di Aquileia e gli Istri, che brutalmente eruttano con enfasi Ce fast tu?
Dal 1920 Bollettino della Societ Filologica Friulana Graziadio Isaia Ascoli Salvaguardia cultura e lingua friulana, nata a Gorizia nel 1919 la minoranza linguistica storica friulana, e la sua lingua e cultura, sono state riconosciute nel 1999 con la legge 482/1999, articolo 2.
legge 482/99, art. 2 " Norme in materia di tutela delle minoranze linguistiche storiche In attuazione dell'articolo 6 della Costituzione e in armonia con i princ pi generali stabiliti dagli organismi europei e internazionali, la Repubblica tutela la lingua e la cultura delle popolazioni albanesi, catalane, germaniche, greche, slovene e croate e di quelle parlanti il francese, il franco-provenzale, il friulano, il ladino, l'occitano e il sardo.
