  2. A House and Five Doors A House and Five Doors is revolving around people of different backgrounds who are all contained within the about-to-fall house. This house has five rooms with five doors, and each one of rooms is telling a story. The house is standing as a liminal space between the past, which is outside its rooms, and the present, which is the ruined state of these people after they were exiled willingly orunwillingly fromtheir pasthouses. In the play, nostalgic feelings for the past have always been standing against any sense of belonging to this new house becauseit is a reminder of lost values. This Iraqi play
