  12. CzechAid - support to green economy 25,000 residents of Daye have access to potable water from a newly established network. Murun, Mongolia, with 35 thousand inhabitants utilizes a new source of water. Moldovan cooperatives uses refrigeration equipment with a capacity of 500 tons, which prolongs the durability and increase the availability of fruits and vegetables. More than 22,000 Cambodian households own biofuel station, which generates energy for two hours of cooking and lighting, and saves of about 75 USD annually. The Czech Republic supported the installation of solar power plants in the province of Tubas in the West Bank at the overall capacity of 400 kW.

CzechAid - support to human dignity 66 Zambian students received training and subsequent employment as electricians, tailors and bakers. 160 Afghan teachers from six secondary schools use new teaching methods in practice. In Georgia , 115 young people from socially vulnerable households passed retraining courses in various vocational fields. 26 children with hearing impairment who attend school Mother Teresa in Kosovo can use hearing improvement equipment. 31 Zambian health workers provide neonatal resuscitation, reducing child mortality.

  14. CzechAid - sharing of transformation experience 30 employees of government of Bosnia and Herzegovina were trained in the legislation and control measures for raising and breeding livestock. CzDA signed a memorandum with the Ministry of Agriculture to build a vineyard register during the visit of President M. Zeman in Moldova. CzDA launched a joint project with USAID on addictology in Georgia, focusing on systemic changes in this area (education, legislation, etc.). Thanks to Czech assistance (in cooperation with Sweden and the US) Bosnia and Herzegovina uses accredited laboratories for the export of food products to the EU.

  15. CzechAid - support to business partnerships The company Dekonta has capitalized on the experience from Czech development projects in Moldova and won the FAO tender on further decontamination. Under the new scheme, CzDA has supported six feasibility studies for consecutive projects finnced from international sources. Czech firms TopolWater Ltd. Ltd. and Ircon built two waste water treatment plants in Kosovo, one in the context of Czech aid, the other ordered by the Kosovo government. Within the program for private sector partnerships CzDA supports business plans with a positive development impact such as apprenticeships in leather processing in Ethiopia.

  16. CzechAid - support to awareness raising 79 students of the Faculty of Arts, University JE Purkyn in st nad Labem were briefed on using audiovisual media in teaching about developing countries. Based on the International Aid Transparency Index ranking 2014 CzDA improved the availability and clarity of information by 5% points. CzDA organized a panel discussion at the international agricultural conference Troptentag hosted in September 2014 Czech Agricultural University in Prague. Director Michal Kaplan in October 2014 participated in the debate with Professor of Harvard University Lant Pritchett in the series of "Kapucsinski Lectures".

  17. CzechAid - cooperation with other donors CzDA organized a workshop in July 2014 on Result Based Management, attended by experts from Austrian ADA and German GIZ. In 2014, CzDA has implemented or started implementing 5 projects with USAID within the Emerging Donors Challenge Fund. CzDA started working with Sovereign Order of the Knights of Malta, with whom we signed a memorandum on joint projects in Palestine. In the framework of trilateral cooperation CzDA supported 47 projects co-financed by the European Commission with a significant 3-4 times leverage effect.
