  1. THE D.C. REEVES ANNUAL TITLE I MEETING 2024-25

  2. The D.C. Reeves Elementary School receives Title I, Part A funds. As a Title I school we develop a School Wide Plan which includes school goals, activities, and a budget. The School Wide Plan serves as our road map for improving student achievement. The plan is based on numerous sources of data and is written by a variety of stakeholders. 2

  3. Our overall school goals include: increasing student achievement for all students as measured by the LEAP assessment and district beginning and end of year assessments in ELA, math, science, and social studies; decreasing the percentage of students who are chronically absent; decreasing the percentage of students who receive 1 or more out of school suspensions.

  4. Parent and Family Engagement Parent and Family Engagement Some of our parent and family engagement activities which are planned for the 2024-25 school year are: Open House Invitation to participate in the design and implementation of the School Wide Plan Participation in the Panorama Survey conducted in the spring IEP, 504, SAT meetings Weekly newsletters Agree to and sign the Title I compact sent home in the Fall Parent-teacher conferences Introductory phone calls/Weekly Taking Time to Call Tuesday Communication Meet and Greet LEAP learning activity Parent Literacy Night/Eureka Math night Virtual learning workshops All Pro Dads Muffins With Moms Mardi Gras With Moms

  5. Our Title I budget includes paying some teacher and paraprofessional salaries, purchasing needed supplies, copy machine maintenance, and parent and family engagement activities.

School Wide Goal #2 Increase the Assessment Index (all tested subjects) in grades 3-8 from 66.6 (2022) to 71.6 in 2024. from 56.4__(2019) to _59.6_ in 2020. 46.8-(2020) to 53 (2021) Tier I /HQ curriculum will be followed with fidelity at The D.C. Reeves Guidebooks will be utilized in Grades 3 & 4 as the curriculum for ELA instruction Eureka Math will be utilized in Grades 3 & 4 as the curriculum for Math instruction. 8

  9. School Wide Goal #3 Increase the percentage of students with disabilities scoring at Mastery or Above in grades 3-8 from _30%__ in 2023 to __35%_ by 2024.   10. School Wide Goal #4 Decrease the K-4 out of school suspension rate from 3.1% to 2%. (My school s out of school suspension rate is (9.1)2020-21 , (4.8) 2021-22 , (3.1) 2022-23 o The D.C. Reeves will support students by utilizing the PBIS behavioral support program with incentives. o The PBIS committee will meet to review data and adjust where necessary. Students will be awarded each six weeks for good behavior. o Students will earn points daily to be redeemed for items from the PBIS store. (PBIS app) o Students who need additional guidance will be given a Check In/Check Out partner for behavioral support. 10
