DarkSide French groups APC (Davide Franco, Alessandra Tonazzo) CPPM (Pierre Barillon, Fabrice Hubaut, Pascal Pralavorio, Isabelle Wingerter-Seez) LPNHE ( CG, Julie Rode) CPPM working on the design and production of the DarkSide-20k calibration system Mechanical design, DAQ, slow-control P. Barillon from CPPM working on the design O. Dadoun helped to implement the calibration system in the MC simulation APC and LPNHE working on the developments of reconstruction software and analysis of DS-50 data We participated to an ERC submitted by Isabelle in August for the part of characterizing Ar response using IPNO beam (ARIS experience) Considering to submit an ANR for Argon/Xenon mixing (presented at March Reunion Ressources) Nom du projet R union Ressources 2018 F vrier 2
Requests to LPNHE During the lockdown the progresses on the technical side have been slow DS-20k is expected to start taking data in 2023, construction of the prototype is on- going at CERN We concentrated on the analysis and we expect to produce new limits with DS-50 very soon The reconstruction software is also being developed (fully python-based) Personally I m pretty busy with T2K and Hyper-K but I will also work on DarkSide for the next 2 of years (at least..) -> Julie s thesis Hopefully these two years will be useful to find someone else in the lab interested in DarkSide It would be useful to keep Olivier s involved in DarkSide to continue helping with the simulation of the calibration system and contribute to the reconstruction software (although this latter activity didn t really started yet) 0.2 FTE -> calibration 0.4 FTE -> calibration and reconstruction software Nom du projet R union Ressources 2018 F vrier 3
