  4. COVID-19 Vaccination Commitment at Davenport As of August 2, 2021 In our polling of faculty, staff and students regarding their vaccination status, we heard from 89% of faculty and 75% of staff, a very high response rate. More than 85% of us have been vaccinated. In addition: 89% of the adjuncts who responded are vaccinated, and 71% of the students who responded so far (~ 34%) are vaccinated All of our campus locations (faculty, staff and students) reflect a vaccination rate greater than 65%, and most of them are well above 70%. These vaccination rates combined with significant reduction in the spread of COVID-19 in and around our campus locations give us confidence for a more normal experience on campus this fall. We are also participating in the White House Vaccination Challenge focused on encouraging college students to become vaccinated. 4

  5. Davenports White House Vaccination Challenge Strategies Strongly encourage the vaccine for faculty, staff and students Emphasis on vaccinations for students - New form on Student Connection requesting student vaccination status (3 potential responses: Y/N/Prefer not to answer) 5

  6. Davenports White House Vaccination Challenge Additional strategies Champions are helping us spread the word (campus leaders, college deans, athletic coaches/administration, CCL, students in leadership positions) Vaccination clinics on campus (August 6 + Sept 3 - Lettinga move-in dates; dates for Warren/Detroit, Great Lakes Bay and Lansing to follow soon) Incentive for students to disclose their vaccination status: Drawings for free fees for fall semester (total of 5); Incentive for students to become vaccinated: Eligible for additional 5 drawings for free fees for fall semester; Lottery for vaccinated Michigan residents; No need for screening testing; No need to quarantine 6

  7. Looking ahead What does this mean regarding my return to campus schedule (faculty and staff)? Managers and their teams are welcome on campus at any time. Our Phase 4B begins on August 1, 2021 at which time full employment on campus is expected, with some continued remote work for employee engagement and business effectiveness. What should I expect returning to campus? A return to normal operations while wearing masks in all indoor, shared spaces except for brief periods when seated and eating. The COVID-19 task force and ERT continue to monitor state, regional and institutional data and stand ready to suggest changes if areas of concern arise. 7
