Financial Overview Income Overview Registration Fees = $116,468 (vs. 103,941 last year) Summer Program = $12,630.00 Festival Foods cards = $17,090 (prior year 16,422) Corporation Donations - $6,769 (prior year 9,760) Skate Sharpener = $309 Misc. Income- $20,092 Spring Hockey = $12,820
Financial Overview Expenses Overview Team expense include ice time, away tournaments, powerskate, and referee costs total $132,517 (about $12,000 greater than last season- increased ice costs) Equipment Purchases = $5,352 Goalie Inc - $3,000 Coach Reimbursements - $633 Other Expense = $16,226 (Banking/credit card fees, Website, Insurance, etc.) Overall Budgeted for $385 loss Actual amount was a profit of $36,373 (due to increase skater fees, ice cost lower than budget, March ice bill)
By Law Change 1. Article III, section III reads The Annual Meeting , in no case shall convene no later than the third Tuesday in April. Update it to read The Annual Meeting, with limited exceptions, shall convene no later than the third Tuesday in April. 2. Article IV, Section I reads The number of Directors shall be twelve (12) Update to read The number of Directors shall be Fourteen (14) - The Recruitment position was never added into the by-laws and the board recommends adding an Assistant Treasurer position to share the work with the Treasurer

Board Elections Vice President Matt Jensen - I've been involved with DPYH for 7 years. Been involved with the operations committee for 4 of those 7 years and have held the ACE Coordinator position for the past 2 years. Jack Mason - I've been involved in youth sports for over 20 years, primarily coaching: soccer, football and softball at the select and recreational levels, as well as collegiate soccer. Four of my older children played H.S. sports and were All- Conference and All- Region. I have a good understanding of the importance of always looking at decisions based on what is in the best long term interest of the Club first, then the individual teams. I believe we are fortunate in having good coaches that are crucial to our kids development, success and confidence. Bill LaBelle - I ve been a coach for 22 years. Participated on the Ops committee for 4 years. I ve also been a member of 3 other youth hockey boards and have held the ACE coordinator, Registrar and Program Director positions.
Board Elections Treasurer Tina Van De Ven - I served as an assistant to the CFO of a successful ESOP for 4 years and am currently responsible for all accounting functions for a small multi million dollar business. I am knowledgeable in areas of A/R, A/P, financial reporting, KPI s, budget preparations, cashflow management and forecasting. I use the Quickbooks software, am very skilled in Excel, detail oriented, trustworthy and organized. Katie Ver Boort I have a legal background (attorney for 15 years), I m also very organized and honest. Megan Noltner - I am a mom to three boys who have quickly turned Hockey in to a family passion! One just finished his first season as a Mite, one who will be a Mite next year and another who is counting down the days until he is old enough to hit the ice. I have almost ten years of working in a variety of Human Resources roles that have provided me opportunities that would translate and assist in the role as treasurer/assistant treasurer that require the same level of attention to detail, organization and a passion for working with people.
Board Elections Equipment Manager Chris Sands I m organized and have served on the board for the last year as the Tournament Director. Currently working with sponsorship chairperson to develop a new jersey program. Coached within DPYH for the last 6 years. Katie Jansen - I have been a very involved hockey mom for the past five years my boys have played. I m ready to get more involved in this great program

Appointed Positions New elected officials will take office at first board meeting in May 2021. Appointed board positions will be selected by the new board and notified before the May 2021 meeting.
